2016 Riserva Barbaresco.
Bright, shiny ruby red.
The nose of this wine is so floral….dark violets, roses and wild herbs.
Ripe black cherries, tobacco, truffles and mushrooms with a hint of menthol on the finish.
Bright, vibrant acidity pairs with close grained tannins to give a smooth, elegant finish.
We had mushroom risotto with black truffles with this wine. — 18 days ago
An extremely drinkable Cab. Blackberry, blackcurrant, oaky vanilla, soft tannin … just lovely — 3 months ago
Wow. A truly wonderful delicious Bordeaux blend from South Africa -no less. My first from this country. 2003 vintage still bringing it. Near perfect Harmony with a lush delicious mouth feel with a long finish. — 4 months ago
Very fruit forward. Blackberries, blueberries, and vanilla. If you have this in your cellar, I would not hold it for much longer. — a month ago
