Excellent house wine. — 2 months ago
Might be a bit past its prime but still quite good. Light ruby color with a brick rim. Aromas and flavors of dark cherry, rose petals, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco and dried herbs. Smooth and dusty tannins. Brimming with acidity. Extremely complex, but maybe just a touch out of balance. Still a pleasure. Thank You John P. — 3 years ago
Raspberries and dark berries upfront then a quickly fading dryness in the middle. Cocoa? at the finish. Softens as it opens up. Layers of flavor. — 2 months ago

For $19, a bargain. Robust all around but balanced. Long finish. Earthy. Dark and inky. Rich blackberry. Buy again. Better than other $30-40 riojas w more age. — 19 days ago
