The 2023 is a blend of 40% Barbera, 40% Dolcetto, 14% Montepulciano, 6% Sangiovese. @Delectable Wine not a pure Sangiovese. Still a delicious pizza wine, or in my case, Monday night pasta wine. 2022. We loved the 2019 Martha Stoumen Carignan we had this afternoon, so we wanted to try this D&G when we went looking for another bottle. A bit darker fruit flavor and earthier, and took ~15 minutes to open up. A little more tannic bite but paired equally well with leftover kebabs. — 5 months ago

Pale color, with aromas of peach, pear, and apricot. Medium body, slightly sweet entry, tropical flavors, also some citrus (lemon, grapefruit) flavors, some pleasant spicy notes (not heavy on spice). Good kick of acidity keeps it going. A great food wine.
