49 % Garnacha, 25 % Carinena, 16 % Syrah and 10 % Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dark cherries, blackberries, beautiful black violets, graphite earthiness, black olives and fennel.
Nicely rounded tannins with a layered and long finish.

Mature and showing nice black fruit - blackberry, cassis, violet, anise, black cherry and black plum plus oak notes of vanilla ands cedar. Tertiary flavors and aromas of leather and cigar box are starting to emerge. The wine is highly extracted giving it a sense of jammy heaviness without quite enough acidity to balance the powerful fruit impression. Medium plus finish that is a bit hotter than I’d like. — 2 months ago

First time trying this after being enthralled with the second wine; Mica.
Although 2020 was a gnarly vintage in Napa, I rolled the dice with this…

Nose displays scorched earth, sandalwood and rich dark fruit. Palate is plush, dense and textured. Plum compote and grainy tannins provide the classic Napa signature. Nice acidity brings up the rear. Relative to Mica, based on this showing, I wouldn’t spend 2.5 x for this over Mica. I know it’s a poor comparison due to the vintage, but I didn’t see any noticeable improvement worth going broke for. Excellent experience but no. Mo rated this 92 and he’s clearly on another planet right now 🤔 — 10 months ago

Absolutely smoking hot tonight. Competed with the Mica and Modus Sage Ridge. Coravin’d and presented so well. Soft and pure palate. Blueberry pie nose. Medium tannins with a broad shouldered structure. Nice balance with excellent weight and texture. Bright acidity and sweetness finished off what I considered to be the best vintage I’ve tasted from Sinegal — 8 months ago
