Nebbiolo Rosato
Elatis blends nebbiolo, pelaverga, & barbera
DAY1
Served with Vinloq System
👁Crystal clear: pink and light orange
👃Citrus. Bright & fresh
👅Elegant. Grapefruit, strawberry, chalky minerality with light smoke. Concentrated by rosé standards. Crisp finish with mod+ length
Stored Vinloq Preserved wine in fridge
DAY5
Rosés are very transparent and fragile so oxidation quickly diminishes the fun. No oxidation here. Just as outstanding as DAY1 with no loss of fruit or oxidative notes
Elatis is beautifully executed and an outstanding value👍 — 4 years ago

Light but structured, succulent and a little (but not too) fruity — 7 years ago
This is so bomb... And even more bomb because I picked it up for $6.75. Just a crianza but Conde Valdemar goes above and beyond with everything so I'd imagine this sees a year of oak and further bottle aging before release. It's an ’08 but I'd say it's still got another 5-10 years on it.
Delicious ripe strawberry, raisin, prune, dried red flower, dried blueberry, decomposing leaves, organic matter, irony minerality. Lots of dried fruit but the wine is so fresh and vibrant at the same time. Great acid backbone, mod tannin. Loving this. — 8 years ago
Light red with translucent edge. Mod acidity and rough tannins. Black Raspberry. — 3 years ago
Ripe dark cherry fruit, moving towards slightly dried, smoky/spicy 4EG character, woodsmoke, smoked meat, sanguine, peppercorn, roasted herbs, salt and granite. Mod body, firm and chiseled despite the vintage warmth, lovely and traditional Côte Rôtie. — 5 years ago
Fresh orchard smells.
Blackberry, black raspberry purée, hints of thyme and oregano. Extremely clean and very well made medium bodied wine with slight tannins - think pomegranate seed tannin - and delicious Alexander the grape acidity.
Lovely wine for a mod week tipple.

Savory, meat and olives, great acidity and mod tannins with tart black and red fruits. Really loved this... — 8 years ago
Beautiful nose of apple and citrus. Carmel apple on the palate. Not the longest finish, but very good. — 5 years ago
Lots to unpack here: deep fruit, earth and spice. Lovely texture, mod tannins and plenty of show over a couple of days without any fade! — 6 years ago
Great wine! Amazing to taste a 19 year old dry white drinking at its prime. Probably related to being on the lees for years before bottling. Rich, medium body, moderate acidity, mild-mod complexity. Paired nicely with calamari and spaghetti with clams. Wish I had several more bottles. — 6 years ago
90.5 Great refreshing acid, low to mod tannin, silky texture. Ripe cranberry, raspberry jam, strawberry, a bit of savory spice, touch of pepper. Kinda smells and tastes like Northern Rhone syrah's younger less developed but more peppy and high energy brother. — 7 years ago
Does VERY well a decant, takes the brett( which actually like) out & smoothes the edges a bit. Dark dark black fruits, that volcanic minerality all through. Mild to mod tannins. Can match any food, just about- this time chicken w saffron, apricots; roasted brussel sprouts, & corn pudding w roasted garlic & sage — 8 years ago

Drinking well 14 yrs later. Lots of structure and depth here for a Cali Pinot- pretty yummy juice, decent fruit, weight and mod acid to balance things — 6 months ago
