A beautiful shock of garnet, this thin and clear Barolo is lovely, but a little more of a bite than I’d hope for this vintage. The aftertaste lingers nicely (with a light woody flavor), but doesn’t have as smooth of a finish as I’d prefer. It’s still a beautiful wine and love that it comes in a 375 ml bottle. — 3 months ago
This Brunello shows its Sangiovese’s expression to a nice level, packed with cherry notes and flavors, the garnish color gives a nice clue how bright the acidity is on the back of your palate. Great vainilla and woody taste. Tannins are medium, dry enough to Pair with mushrooms dishes, including Risottos. — 8 months ago
Gold hue. Aromas and flavors of apple, apricot, bell pepper, lemon, and petrol, with a hint of grass and creamy notes. Medium body with medium-plus acidity. Silky and rounded mouthfeel. Complex bouquet. Elegant and balanced, with a lasting finish. — a year ago
The Terre di Talamo “Vento” Toscana IGT, is bright and layered Vermentino from the stunning coastal hills of Maremma, just south of Grosseto. Grown on slopes overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, this 100% Vermentino is all about freshness, texture, and Tuscan charm.
On the nose, it offers inviting aromas of yellow stone fruits and sliced mango, with a touch of coastal minerality that keeps things dry and focused. The palate leans into ripe, juicy pear with a crisp, clean finish—balanced and full of life.
Bonus points for being crafted from 100% organically grown grapes. A vibrant, crowd-pleasing white that brings both energy and elegance to the table. Perfect for seafood, sunshine, and sharing. Cheers! — 2 months ago
A wonderful Italian wine. Very dark in the glass with great aromas on the nose. Flavors of cherry, blackberry and black currant. Paired it with some bold cheeses. — 2 months ago
Drinking beautifully now. Nose has macerated wild cherry, and savory minerality. Developing a secondary note of aged, well cared for leather. Rather full in the mouth. Deep fruit and a lengthy, minerally gravel-laced finish. Medium acids are kind of sneaky, coming on as the finish extends. Still some very soft tannin present. Lots of character for the money.
UPDATE: Night 2, nose is now showing a crushed rosemary leaf note — 7 months ago

Seems like a great classic representation of a Chianti. Cherry, Dusty, various baking spices. Interesting enough when it first opened there is definitely a caramel or a burnt sugar going on there, but it faded within the first 5 to 10 minutes. After that it settled down to Fruit forward without any bad tannins or anything else, but still not flabby. Delicious and went very well with our pasta. — a month ago
