First time trying this wine and HIGH expectations. Hit it with oxygen from winepro2 to start. On the nose, it just smells dark and brooding. First sip. Wild blueberries and I mean wild. Like right out of the forest. Good juiciness but also some grip and spicyness. I originally thought tobacco or bramble or even just I can taste the woods. My wife said it was spicy and had a kick. I thought it was super smooth. Did not notice the oak at all. Very fragrant with blue and dark fruits. Very dense. I almost couldn’t taste the seasoning of the food as if the wine overpowered the food. Kinda wild. Overall enjoyed this and was easy to drink — 3 months ago

Unusual to be drinking a wine this young. Decanted 45min to begin. Nose somewhat muted, though dark fruit and oak are there. Inky purple. Great ripe black and blue fruit. Could still use more time in the air to blend together, but the minerality and earthiness is definitely there to match the fruit. Nice med-long finish. Decanting 2+ hours recommended. — 3 years ago

A more subtle nose than I expected given the deep ruby color in the glass. Rich dark fruit with black cherry and raspberry completed with vanilla and graphite. Tannins are well integrated but omnipresent. Small in texture but not soft. Lovely bottle! — 3 months ago

With one M shy in the back and the other M writing this we have to be honest. This is a well made super tuscan from Chianti. Cab S, Merlot and PV. Some 5000 bottles made. All the typical characteristics present. Bonus for the name! M and M — 9 months ago
