Safe go-to for Vinho Verde. Refreshing, light, enveloping, tropical. — 2 years ago
Solid Alvarinho with a clean flavor. Good minerality. But not an extraordinary Alvarinho. — 2 months ago
Tremendous value. One of the top three wines from our trip to Portugal, sells for €5 in miniprecios in both Porto and Lisbon. Light, citrus notes, refreshing, easy drinking. Great on its own or with fruit and mild cheeses. — 2 months ago
Citrus and salt. Cuts through. Nice! — 6 months ago
Simple, clean, lemon but not too tart, great value for the price point. — a month ago
Delicious, great with fish. As someone not super familiar with Portuguese wines, I found this more substantial and complex than a typical Rias Baixas Albarino, still light and summery — 2 months ago
Love it. So drinkable on a warm day. — 5 months ago
Bright, fresh, fruity and floral vinho verde. It’s got zip. — 8 months ago

Exclusively from their vineyards in the northern part of Vinho Verde, Monção and Melgaço. I’ve been there! That’s where I accidentally got up two hours early cause my clock switched to Spain time and I thought that meant I'dn need to get up an hour early. Contacto has a little more skin contact than average, turning up with a slight texture and friendly bitter bite. On the nose, it’s fresh lemon zest, wet stone and whetstone, with a bit of white flower. The palate is utterly thirst-quenching, veering into dried apricot territory and a bit of (as I said above) fun bitterness countering the fruit. It all wraps up with a sluice of salinity. Fun, fun, fun! — 3 months ago
