Ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Nice nose of fresh red fruits.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, plums, light oak, chocolates, licorice, coffee, spices, tobacco leaf, light earth and herbs.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Elegant and nicely balanced.
The 2022 vintage was excellent, and it shows. Already drinking beautifully. Very approachable, complex and rich.
The high alcohol is already well integrated. Easy drinking right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.
Still young, and needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
Very tasty by itself as a sipping wine or with food.
A blend of 98% Grenache with a touch of Cinsault and Clairette. Grapes from 70 year old vines were aged in large French oak barrels for 15 months. A small production of less than 8,000 bottles.
15.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Pale bronze with effusive perlage and creaminess. The nose is simply gorgeous with red and green apples and almonds. Freshly toasted brioche bread with a dollop of cinnamon butter. Greenery and fresh red fruits. Stunning. I could just smell this for so long but I suppose I should taste it as well.
Pure Meunier from Cuisles. Disgorged in October of 2021 with no dosage. Terrific balance and structure here, as is the norm for all Moussé champagnes. From a perpetual reserve of wines that makes such a huge difference. The depth here is atypical.
Electric in the mouth. Great length. Minerality and purity on the tongue. A bit of citrus on first taste. Then the spice and fruit come in to play. Whenever I taste this I always think it’s my favorite Moussé champagne. And that’s saying a lot. — 3 years ago

Big fruity nose. Dark purple hues. Big, but easy drinking. Plums. Cherries. Vanilla. — 4 months ago
Exceptional Sonoma cab. Big, dark, soft and lush. Jammy in texture, dark cherry finish — 8 months ago
Used the Durand on the cork - soaked to the edge. Decanted for 2 hours.
This wine had some gaminess. Smooth. Fruit was a bit wild and overpowered by the savory flavors.
Paired well with the chicken skewers and onions. Needed complex flavors in the food to pair well.
Good but quite a bit below the Beaucastel — 9 months ago
Everything that makes me happy about wine. Such a great bottle! Will actually go Re-buy. Betsy and I both loved it. Had it by itself in the outdoors in great scenery. — 6 years ago

Called St Joe Syrah. Fig and plum smoke, beautiful balance. Took this home. — 3 months ago
Weeknight treat. Medium body, creme brulee on nose and some custardy finish but great acid. Just so many great things to love in this chardonnay. I still prefer Ma Belle Fille — 5 months ago
Crisp, refreshing, and flavorful. — 6 months ago

[En Magnum] Lovely, fresh, crisp, old school Bordeaux from the family who were the cellar masters of Chateau Palmer back during this time frame, 12% ABV, perfumed, violets, soft, plummy fruit, great acidity, longish finish, this wine is about subtlety, not power, excellent!! — 9 days ago
