Very nice wine (I love Barolo wines). Tasting the terroir and some bright cherries. Enjoyed this with my cacio e pepe! — 10 months ago

Salty, zest lingers on back of tongue, strong backbone, vegetal touch. Comparable to Chablis but with zest. — 5 months ago

Pear, red apple skin aromas, darker fruit notes on palate with nuttiness but bright acidity and a touch of oxidization or brinyness? — 6 years ago
Wild raspberry, floral. Great balance between tannin & acidity. Will be looking for more of this grape. — 9 years ago
Took an hour or so to open up, but pretty good once it did. Beautifully clear Ruby red color, medium- viscosity. Nose sees oak, ripe cherries, some mustiness and earthiness. Palette sees cherry cough drops, cola, ripe cherries. A short finish was a little disappointing, but as some that isn't a huge Piedmont fan, I enjoyed this. — 9 years ago
What a surprise after few years .... Great Barbera with still good fruit and acidity — 11 years ago

Quite light ruby , wide pink rim . Lots of tart red fruits , cranberry , raspberry , with fresh cut herbs and rose . On the palate this is very fresh with lots of red fruits and quite high refreshing acidity . Good fresh herbal crunchy cranberry, orange rind finish with lightly grippy tannins . Perfect now and over the next 5 years or so . At Osteria Giro de Vite, in Monchiero , a little place just outside of the Barolo region that is well worth visiting . — a month ago
