This wine was soooo good when we tasted it at the tasting room in Franschhoek. Purchased a few bottles and brought it home. Carefully preserving for the ‘perfect’ occasion…. but when is that? So just open it when we felt like it. Much better plan!!! 😎. Not quite like I remember unfortunately. But still good. Some stringent flavors throwing it off balance. Not quite the depth of flinty, mineral flavors as I had stored away in my memory. Also not quite the intensity and the length. But….it did bring us back to a wonderful time we had in South Africa (that day!). — 7 months ago
Under $20, big honey and enough subtle minerality to balance out. Winner! — 9 months ago

Delicious. Replacement for the Château d'Yquem Sauternes previously on the Reserve Tasting Menu; not mad at this South African straw wine, however, as the 2022 vintage was served as the finale for our meal at Da Terra in London as well. Top marks! — 3 months ago
This is a mixture of old vines Chenin Blanc 66%, Clairette Blanche 18% Grenache Blanc 5%, Viognier 4%, Semillon 4%, Verdelho 3% with wonderful golden colour reflecting the lemon, melon and citrus flavours. 14% abv but well integrated and good long acidity on the finish
A top notch SA wine old vines classic — 9 months ago
Excellent. Well blended. Fruity hint of plum and black cherries to me. Rather delicious wine. Highly recommended. Had many bottles in SA. Simple wine yet yummy — 9 months ago

Elegant with dark fruit and modest spice. This estate has become more restrained I reckon. — a day ago
