Great Barbera from one of the masters of this craft. Loads of dark cherry, spices with some strawberry and hints of raspberry thrown in the mix. Deep and concentrated and at the same time well in balance. Refreshing acidity clears the palate towards the long after taste. I prefer the Nizza bottling slightly over this but a fabulous Barbera 3-5 years from peak — 7 years ago

Bright ruby color. 100% Barbera. Aromas of plums, forest floor, and spices. Pallet is full of blackberry, black licorice and tobacco. Ripe, juicy and round. Pretty well balanced. Pairs well with foods that include tomato sauce. — 4 years ago
