A gift from cam and roommates one birthday, don’t remember much but I imagine it was good at $50 — 4 years ago
My kind of #californication 🙂 Deep and spicy (finish) with strong bitter chocolate. Mild tannins, medium acidity. Black fruits - barely palpable. But a leather, smoke maybe - they do the job. My second wine from William Hill - the first one was fantastic blend (2014). — 5 years ago
47% Cab Sav, 37% Malbec and the rest is Petite Verdot and Merlot. Always one of my go to wines and this vintage is surely not disappointing. — 5 years ago
One of the best. Favorite vineyard. Always perfectly balanced and exactly what we’re looking for in a Pinot. — 2 years ago
Bought while it was on sale. One of my favorites for the price. — 5 years ago
Aromatic notes of rose and violet. Great depth of delicious flavour on the medium bodied palate. Red fruits - savoury and rich. See previous note for the 2014 - always excellent but 8 years of cellaring has enhanced this wine. To have won the Jimmy Watson Trophy for the Best One Year Old Dry Red at Royal Melbourne and still starring now at 8 years of age shows this is a wine for all seasons and all years. Should be a regular purchase. A Winner. — 3 years ago

I’m biased. Monastrell is my fav grape. This is one of the better ones I’ve tried. It’s rich, supple, dry and lovely. — 5 months ago
