Lecker im Geschmack, nicht zu sauer und fühlt sich angenehm im Mund an. — 7 months ago
Nicely aromatic & quite ethereal with ripe dark damson plum boosted by aniseed and fleur d’oranger. Some tart cherry, too. Sweet yet savoury with a mineral, dusty core underneath. Enticing.
Medium bodied on the palate, with firm, dusty, fine tannins, framing a nice core of dark cherry and bright super fresh acidity. A hint of wet earth, a hint of baking spice towards the finish.
This is drinking beautifully right now and hinting at something more complex than just a usual sip. All the elements come together, not seamlessly but with really interesting edges. .
A truly lovely & delicious wine. — 9 months ago

Portelli, grower in the southern bastion of Vittoria, Frappato grape. Medium Ruby color with aromas of rec berry fruit and earthy herb spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with minty herbs, floral and earthy notes. Full-bodied, well balanced chewy drying tannins on a smooth medium+ finish. — 9 months ago
