Torres family has been related to wine since 17th century when their ancestors first planted vines in the Penedès, a winegrowing region dating to the days of the Phoenicians. Deep Ruby with aromas of jammy fruit, pepper and toasty cedar. On the palate this blend of Cariñena, Garnacha and Syrah shows black currant, jammy blackberry and pepper, vivid acidity with fine grainy tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, oak and earthy character. Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cherries, hibiscus, and charred oak; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high (but well integrated) alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary flavors of stewed strawberries, black plums, and camphor with a long finish. This wine is balanced and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it, too. — 3 days ago
