A chilleable 100% Gamay from 70-year-old-vine located at 1,300' altitude in Morgon's renown lieu-dit of "Bellevue", an intense deep ruby-red with some explosive aromatics. Minimally intervened (sort of naturally-made wine), earthy and herbaceous, violet with a hint of wood chips on the nose. Solid acidity, velvety, medium plus on tannins, which makes a great potential to age. More rounded mouthfeel and long finish. Cheers — a year ago

Sufficiently mature so as not make enemies with any palate (or bffs). Drink it if you got it now. Not much fruit left in the tank. What's left is dark. Deep purple in the glass. Mellow and soft now. Finish on the short side. Still, an enjoyable find. — 9 years ago
