Nice after a long first day 🙂 — 4 years ago
Pretty close to off the charts incredible! Smooth, mature red fruit that just launches you into a sublime category of greatness. Silent on the nose, but absolutely incredible on the palette. Smooth finish that keeps you coming back for another pour…Amore! — 5 years ago
The Gattavecchi family has been making wine in Montepulciano since the1950s, with the purchase of the Poggio alla Sala estate. Ruby with aromas of red berry, herb and floral notes. On the palate tart cherry and raspberry with spice and earthy herb notes. Firm tannins on medium finish ending with some earthy oak. Good now and over next 1-2 years. — 6 years ago

16/20 (91/100)
Много вишни и черешни, тост, мак, замша. Хорошо, многопланово, молодо. Вкус полный, чай, ягоды, свежий. Небольшие творожные и маковые ноты. Насыщенно, богато. Хорошо.

Castello di Monteriggioni. Quite tasty. Nose of violet, lavender, and herbs with red fruit and some earth. The paper is finessed with lush tannins. Can use time. Maybe age worthy for 5-10 years, but very much drinkable now. Great with pork dishes. — 7 years ago
Wonderful Sangiovese wine! Full fruit nose with a smooth finish! — 9 years ago
Colli senesi Chianti is probably the most underrated old world style wine on the planet. The nose is bacon fat, mixed with sopressata. The palate is smooth and drinkable. Perfect food pairing. The nose is the incredible part though. Wow. — 11 years ago
