Pont De Fort

Ramey Wine Cellars

Fort Ross-Seaview Chardonnay 2022

Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits and blossom and spice, fruit from the Martinelli Charles Ranch, two miles in from the Pacific, aged for 12 months in 25% new oak. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with a touch of zesty lemon, crisp, with nitty vanilla notes. Nice mouthfeel, vivid acidity, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla and citrus mineral character. Nice! — 11 days ago

Silky and lush with just enough acidity in the front to make it interesting and lively. A really special North Coast gem. — 2 months ago

Estate Vineyard Fort Ross - Seaview Syrah

While I wanted to enjoy this one it wasn’t my favorite. Was described as having some fruit present but fell short. — 19 days ago

Hi Shay! Same I love it. Sadly it was just a quick trip from Sacramento after kid volleyball matches ended for the day.

Fort Ross

Sea Slopes Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2021

Cloudy garnet color promises the vitality and exuberance of unfiltered #pinotnoir. Ripe cherry, red bramble fruit, strawberry. High-toned acidity on the palate, layered red fruit carries through. Irresistible #sonomacoast bottle that disappears quickly. — 5 months ago

I very much enjoyed this as the different components had their moment to shine as wine opened up. — a year ago

Fort Ross Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

First-rate #sonomacoastpinot #fortross producer so I could not pass up the WTSO special offer price on this fairly recent vintage. Seems to open up after a day or two in the wine fridge. Delicate nose of dried rose petal and cherries, medium bodied mouthfeel. Delicious wine but their Sea Slope Sonoma Coast lower tier offering was just as good with higher QPR. — 2 months ago

Le Pont Bandol Grenache Mourvedre 2018

Blend of Mourvèdre (about 75%) and Grenache with a splash of Cinsault and Carignan in this ripe and spicy wine from one of smallest appellations in France. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of plum and black currant with black pepper and herbs. Lively tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and spice. Nice value! — 3 years ago
