Tangerine, tangerine zest,, some brioche notes (?), some elderflower flower touches too. It's not your typical riesling nose but it's quite interesting and appealing. The palate shows a good acid drive, some nice and pleasing mouthfeel, some tangerine and lemon curd touches, almost a sweet layer in the rear, before a long, rather fresh, tangerine forward finish. NV What a good effort of the cooperative from d’Orschwiller. Very refreshing and festive bubbly from Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois. Got Gold from Gilbert & Gaillard. Expressive mousse. The muselet says ‘Amour’ and that’s a good attitude to this Cremant. And life of course… have a good Sunday. Paired with scrambled eggs for breakfast. — 2 years ago
