Refosco, indigenous grape to northern Italy, Veneto to be exact. Looks promising, good label, bottle feels heavy, provenance. The nose is bright with red fruit. Young wine, aeration time absolutely necessary. It’s got good structure and acidity on the palate; fruit and nuances a bit muted thought. Don’t have experience with Refosco but my gut feeling says it would be better off, if opened several years from now. — a year ago
Definitely would buy again — 15 days ago
Labelled Henty Chardonnay
This is a single vineyard at the moment cause they only source the grapes from one vineyard in Henty
I can nearly state that Victorian cool climate Chardonnay are starting to be quite recognisable
Very good, not rich, but very elegant
Not for everyone, but for the good palates
..i know i am being snob..

Savory delight - currants, garrigue, tannins. Developing but seemingly early stage even at 15 years. Gastronomic and a terrific pairing with regional foods (braised Toulouse sausages & beans). Perfect provenance for this library release from Fass Selections @Lyle Fass — 2 years ago
Dark ruby color. Aromas and flavors of kirsch, black olives, dark chocolate, baking spices and roasted peppers. Long and lingering finish (nice kiss of oak) and well balanced acidity. Ripe and full bodied but also pleasantly refined. Thanks for sharing, Bob W. — 2 months ago
Probably towards the end of its drinking window, showing fantastically though. Dark cherry and spice on the nose with notes of old leather shoes, cigar box and prunes. On the palate it retains a good tannic structure and tastes of blackberries, cherries and baking chocolate. This is fantastic. — 6 months ago
This is why I buy burgundy - wow. So happy to find 6 more w/solid provenance after opening this bottle. PNP and it still outdid the Faiveley with a 3 hour decant. Faiveley was also fantastic. — 3 years ago

Deep ruby in color; blackberries, cassis, and graphite on the nose: high acidity; high tannins; tastes like black cherries, black plums, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie only liked it with steak. I like it. — 17 hours ago
