Délicieux moment avec Aline millésime 2020 au Mayen à Evolène — 2 years ago
Great surprise. 100% Savagnin, known locally as Heida, from the Salgesch in Valais. Aromatic nose with scents of pear and floral notes. Dry, mineral, slightly saline — 4 years ago
Strong round flavour. Excellent grape. Goes well together with heavy meat like deer, lamb and also beef.
Very natural taste mitigated by any wooden barrel, but the taste of a wood aroma and berry notes prevail. What I call a true and honest wine.
As said, quite heavy so be prudent — 6 years ago
Very nice paired with fondue. — 8 years ago

Quaffably pleasant.

Note : What a discovery! A double grape variety between Rèze and Heida. This wine deserves all its attention especially for connoisseurs. A yellow robe that will remind us that of a Jurassian yellow wine. Its very aromatic nose with flavors of spices, exotic citrus. On the palate, a length of flavors with a grand finale. Notes of white flowers, woody, fresh. A nectar to taste!

— 8 years ago
It is amazing to find wine of Burgundian quality in Switzerland… but the areas do share a common terroir. Fantastic aromatic white. — a year ago
Similar to 2020. Maybe a bit more honeyed tail, and also a bit more tart? Quite enjoyable. — 4 years ago
Ver easy to drink, slightly on the sweeter side, no harshness — 5 years ago
This is not a merlot blend. It is Cornalin, Diolinoir, and Syrah. Loads of tar and smoke, on the nose and in the taste. Heavy Syrah in the blend. Very smooth. Mid length finish. — 7 years ago

Vibrant, intriguing, eloquent nectar made of Heida (Savagnin Blanc), idiosyncratic to Valais.
Dense shimmering brass color, golden glitters.
Wet hay, mint, soaked apples, quince, sage, limestone, pinecone. Caramelized peach.
Fat-bodied, zesty palate. Lively acidity supported by tough mineral kick and kumquat peels, unripe cantaloupe, bruised quince, laurel, sage flavors.
Interminable finish...
Unique winexperience!

Pairings... I tried several ones.
First was 'C_Bro favorite': cute little bunny, trapped, skinned, disemboweled and baked in sourcream with allspice, garlic, onion, juniper, carrots and thyme.
Than - moderatetly spicy grilled reindeer sausages.
And finally mature + blue mold cheese plate.
All three played well. — 10 years ago
