@Henk schouten Totally fair to disagree, taste is personal. But just to say: I’m not critiquing the correctness. I’m critiquing the effect. There’s a kind of technical polish that can drain the soul out of a wine. Beaumard’s been doing that for years. This bottle’s just another example.

@Henk schouten At a certain point you just realize: the internet is where good faith goes to die. I said the wine was boring. I stand by that. Not flawed. Not bad. Just soulless in a way that technical wines often are. If that offends you, maybe ask why it matters so much.
