Had this at chef Avillez’s Bairro in Lisbon’s Chiado neighborhood. First time trying a Dao DOC wine, and it was splendid. Medium bodied, dark fruit and peppery. A nice contrast to the lighter vino verde’s I’ve had a lot of in Portugal. A bottle of this in front of me would be dangerous. — 10 months ago
Brought back from winery. Cork fell apart but no issues. Blueberry coffee nose with bursting fruit and subtle tannins and vanilla. . Great mouthful. Would rate higher if less oak taste but delicious. WS said through 2022 but not over hill. — a month ago
Dry, subtle, incredibly smooth with little tannins — 6 months ago
Lime and salt on the nose and palate, a light body, lime zest acidity, and lovely lingering minerals. — 9 months ago

Very good! Would get again. Definitely medium bodied but drank like a heavy Pinot. Total wine purchase — 18 days ago
