Finding ways to escape the dictatorship of overripe Malbec in Bs As! — 9 months ago
Birthday bottle; drank with mother & father at Harvey House in Madison with some walleye. Great pairing, great company, lovely bottle that tastes like Adult Yumyum Juice. — 3 days ago
Established in the village of Marsannay in the 1960's by Bernard Coillot, father of owner Christophe Coillot. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of berry fruit and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of fig, mushroom and spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral character. Very Nice! — 6 months ago
13.5% ABV Salute to Lulu Peyraud of Domaine Tempier in France. Lulu’s father owned the vineyard , and she along with her husband took it over. Sadly we lost her in October 2020 at the age of 102 y/o. This is a blend of old vine Mataro and Grenache. Light salmon color, watermelon initially , later apple. Very nice! — 3 years ago
Big, ripe nose of candied cherries, spice, raspberry coulis, dried leaves and roses. Gorgeous nose. Unreal minerality as well. So expansive. Juicy and deep with very ripe fruit and a skoche of heat. Let’s see if it resolves. Good freshness and energy. — 3 months ago
