Medium ruby in color; raspberries, black cherries, and cedar on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like blackberries, red plums, tabacco, and black olives with a long finish. — 8 months ago
This is a very pale Texas wine with a very citric nose. Lemon leads the way, but there is lime and orange peel in play, too. A hint of lemon chess pie floats through the minerality along with an herbal note. The palate shows apricot and nectarine flavors filtering through the spicy greenness of the herbaceous essence of the wine. The acidity is zippy, but not overly so. Pairing this with a cool, green salad this summer is a no-brainer. — 4 years ago
Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the ocean, a region where cooling fog comes in through the Petaluma Gap in the morning and once again in the evening. Medium Ruby color, with aromas of berries, tea and spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and tart black cherry with herb, cedar and cinnamon. Fine tannins, medium+ finish with lively acidity, good structure, ending with fruit and cedar spice. — a day ago
Tempranillo for Texas! Aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and plum, complemented by floral hints of violets and subtle spice. The palate offers a balance of juicy fruit flavors and a lingering, stony dryness. Given the challenges of the 2022 growing season, including extreme heat and drought conditions that led to reduced yields but enhanced grape concentration, this vintage delivers exceptional depth and character drinks well young. — 9 months ago

Lots of cherry and current on the nose. Smooth, slightly earthy in the mouth. Very smooth in the finish too. Nice Texas find! — 5 months ago

Nice wine. Last had 2 years ago and probably should have let this one go a bit further but so it goes. Decanted for 2 hours which was the right call. Quite a bit of structure with some nice red fruit mixed with soy and earth. Long finish, with medium minus tannins and good acid. Would be one to try in 5-10 years. — 3 days ago
