Popped and poured. Nose is nice right away, with rich fruit tending toward the sappy mulberry part of the spectrum and a pronounced loamy gravel note. Open and full in the mouth, but with a nice sense of restraint and subtle structure. No heat from the alcohol and the tannins are relatively youthful but feel like they’ll soften. Intense but not jammy fruit and low-toned savory notes in the mouth. Nice length. Drinking well now but could easily improve of the next 4 years or so. — 3 months ago
Good Zin that seemed a bit sweeter than remembered. Paired well with our BBQ ribs. — 3 months ago
My neighbor says it taste like a jolly rancher on the front and finishes like a great wine. WHATEVER ..... It's great drinker , slightly rich , great texture , medium tannins , and a good finish. Well done and a great wine — 4 months ago
I’m a fan of these wines. I’ve not bought in a while as I lost track of them but did manage to get a couple when I saw they had a store in Healdsburg. Back then he was making it seemed like every varietal possible. This one was always a favorite and is still going strong. No rush — 10 months ago

Killer young Zin. Loads of fruit on the front end. Plum dominant in a good way with currant mid palate and a juicy long finish. — 7 days ago
