Very light. Great for a hot day. Affordable. We are going to put this in our regular rotation. — 4 years ago
Pretty stellar. This will go into permanent rotation. — 5 years ago
Overdelivers. Yes this is slammable with oysters but also gives something to think about if you want it. Honey, saline, mineral, citrus, acid. Adding this to regular rotation of delicious inexpensive white. — 6 years ago
Super enjoyable. The newest addition to the regular rotation : ) deep color, nice body... it will greet yr friends warmly! — 6 years ago
First Benovia for me. Riper style zin, with some black pepper on the mid-palate, and showing a little alcoholic warmth in the finish. The label says 15.2% ABV, but I suspect it might be a little higher. Good, but it’s not going to join my regular rotation. — 7 years ago
Whoa Nellie-aside from fact that Roussanne is not part of my even yearly rotation, let alone white Languedoc wine, this bowled us over with its packed flavors, freshness, acidic backbone, & layers-guessing you could lay it down for 3-5 yrs if not longer. Hay, subtle lanolin ( think Chenin), white flowers. Modest viscosity, pale yellow hue. Very impressive. Hand Picked imports. — 8 years ago
Lots of flavor and spice, yet extremely smooth. Full bodied. Definitely one to put in regular rotation! — 2 years ago
Real nice, dense, Sangiovese! Lite on funk but full on flavor. Should be in the Italian rotation if available at BP. — 3 years ago
Haven’t tried this series in years and now regretting its absence in my rotation. 2013 still youthful and strong. Grainy tannin, blue fruit and a balance of acidity. After 4 hours in a decanter, this wine is barely showing any signs of fading. Simply wonderful. — 5 years ago
Great pairing with Sunday gravy, candlelight and Dino Crocetti. We’ll put this one into the regular winter rotation. Salud! — 6 years ago
I made shrimp risotto. this has been in my regular rotation. — 6 years ago
Dark purple core and a bright purple rim. Love the dark fruit and cocoa. Fleshy and shortish make it fun. Not terribly complex but caught some leather too. Crowd pleaser and a great value. Can see wide appeal to people who like Malbec (obviously it’s the dominant grape at 80%), cabs, and Syrah (20%). Rotation-worthy. — 7 years ago
Jae scale very positive @Diana Cho. Would put into the regular Syrah rotation. — 8 years ago
Consumed over several hours and this was all about “a point in time”. The rotation of red and green flavors reminded me of a roulette wheel. Olives and red fruits played a game of hide and seek, occasionally teaming up with tobacco and darker fruits. Intense yet so seductive. Would have liked a longer finish. A wine that I can see being very polarizing due to the assertiveness of its many components.. — 2 years ago
I love when a wine schools me. Opened my first bottle a few years back and thought, big on price and low on return.
It is clear after tasting the wine today, I was clueless and my initial assessment was way off. I clearly did not “get “ what this wine is all about. On the nose Chablis’esque with some reduction that eventually blew off. In my mouth, so much going on. Wonderful concentration and balance with a constant rotation of saline , stone fruit, apple and creaminess. All of this swaddled in vibrant acidity. — 4 years ago
Great bang for the buck! Whiffs of Great Grandma's sofa and a smooth plumby finish. Very easy to drink without being too light. Just might become part of the weekly rotation! — 6 years ago
Absolutely refreshing! The favors of cherry and strawberry burst in your mouth! Perfect summer addition to my wine rotation. — 6 years ago
Beautiful nose, aromas of apple, pear, and citrus primarily lime with a hint of lemon. The palate is a beautiful cacophony green apple and lime with a touch of honey. Nice clean finish with a touch of acid. A truly beautiful wine, that will definitely making its way into the rotation. — 7 years ago
Great balanced CA Pinot. Was a bit skeptical about the different grapes and locations but then my wife bought this without knowing it was saved on my list. And wow, what a blend (of different PNs). Enough fruit mostly dark and medium body but love the presence of enough acidity and layered finish w understated earthy spice. What a value for the price. A new addition to the rotation for non-events/holidays. Solid. — 8 years ago
