A mid cherry red in colour. Aromatics of red fruits, menthol and touches of tar and roses. Light to medium bodied on the palate - surprising for a Barolo with medium plus intensity. Different and interesting in a good vintage from an excellent producer. Next in a year. — 2 months ago
Cannot go wrong with 2018 vintage on most central Tuscan wines and this isn’t an exception. A nice, inexpensive, appealing and approachable Sangiovese driven with a gentle tannins, bright orange acidity, juicy cranberry, ripe red cherries and spice and subtle touch of oak. A perfect pizza companion wine for a casual drinking! — 3 months ago
Opened too young; lovely and exceptionally made wine. Brickish red/brown. I let decant for a loooong time. Lots of cranberry and red fruit, some herbs, clay, faint cedar and tobacco. The acidity was med-high, but the tannins really softened out with aeration. I'd say this is still developing flavors and will be 95+ in a decade. — 25 days ago
Ruby/ brick in color with medium intensity.
Beautiful nose of flowers, raspberries, earth, light herbs, light wood and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity and a harsh mouthfeel.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Single Vineyard Barolo feels big and robust, but looks lighter than it feels. Very tasty though.
The 2019 Barolo vintage is less approachable now, but it's only going to get better from this point.
Needs a few years to mature in the bottle, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. A good food wine right now.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

This showed red cherry, berry with savory spice, leather, earth with floral & tobacco notes. Still fresh at 25 yrs — a month ago
Bright, balanced acidity with mineral finish. Loved the refreshing & different palate of this wine especially in a hot summer day. Great bottle for the price too! — 2 months ago
