So good, floral, berries, acidity, crushable! — 24 days ago
A gift from a friend, this is lovely, with a bit of tobacco on the nose and lively cherry and strawberry flavors on the palate. The finish goes on and on. — 5 months ago
Loved the hint of cherry and the balanced tannins. — 7 months ago
Vivid clear, color and tight, concentrated fruit. Cherries and plums and juiciness. Very delicious, but also seem to fade very quickly and it’s flavor. Corked it for a day and a half and came back to something that was quite quickly on its way out and had become round and just grape juicy. Maybe that’s on me for leaving it. — 9 months ago

Quite quite nice. — a year ago
Wow, great wine. Tons of potential. I feel like it’ll be amazing at 10–15 years. Some huge tannin. Fruit is there tons of dust and earth and leather. Every type of cherry imaginable. Love it. — a month ago
This is the fullest bodied and ripest 2007 Willamette PN I’ve had. 14.5% stated alcohol. Just a bit over the top but still enjoyable. — 8 months ago

Decant and pour. On the nose: Terrific nose of stewed plum, eucalyptus, herbaceous, smoke, black olives, and mushroom. Taste: smooth, creamy, dry wine with blackberry, pencil lead, dried herbs, smoke, dark cherry, earth, and a medium finish. — 2 years ago

My first tasting of the latest vintage. White floral and dried citrus peel aromas. Back label promises flavors of preserved lemon, key lime and thyme. Key lime was prominent with some herb (probably thyme) and tangerine pith. I’m not huge on preserved lemon but then I’m not all that familiar with it in dining, just a few Moroccan and Italian entrees I’ve had using it. So maybe it’s there; I just don’t picture it in my mind’s eye. There is a mineral and lactic-like finish with length in the citrus flavors. Some skin astringency as well, more becoming than not. I like the acidity level, forward but not overpowering. Great balance here overall. Always a pleasurable pour, this one, from vintage to vintage. — 5 days ago
