If I was tasting blind, I would’ve said RRV Pinot. Aromas of cola, red fruit and cloves. Those aromas transferred to my palate where they were met by a healthy dose of acid. An extended finish. Despite a reasonable 13.5% alcohol, at about 3 hours it stared to make its presence known. — 2 months ago

Dry lemon. Some acid. Hint of lemon. Liked this a lot.

Truncated family party notes. This wine was so relaxed and comfortable in its skin. Deep flavors. Soft, luxurious texture. Vines this old are so quietly confident they don’t feel the need to try to impress anyone. I hope I reach this state someday. — a month ago
Time to clear out the fridge. Crazy collection of leftovers. This was the perfect choice to make it a wonderful meal. — 3 months ago

Burgundian in character. The nose is white peach, flint, petrol, oak, and gunpowder. The palate adds lemon, quince, white pepper and cedar. Medium alcohol, medium body, high acid, and a long finish. — 22 days ago

Dark ripe fruit, balanced by enough earth and acidity. Complex and delicious. This should age very well. — 10 days ago
