Another great wine with age in the pocket. Glad we caught it there. Lacked a lil of the magic you are looking for in red burg. But would def drink again. Thx Eothen — 3 years ago
Beautiful, approachable aromas of cherry, raspberry, cranberry, and vanilla. Delightful. Easy drinking without the usual heaviness of this grape. — 4 years ago

By far my favorite HD bottle to date!! — 8 years ago
I tried a pop and pour but it did need decanting - the nose was muted. Medium to full bodied - spicy and earthy with a touch of liquorice. Partial whole bunch in the ferment, basket pressed, indigenous yeasts, French Oak. Made by the talented Sue Bell with fruit from Wrattonbully, just to the north of Coonawarra. See previous note of 109 weeks ago when we did vintage at Bellwether. — 3 years ago

3/11/20. 2014 vintage bought at winery. With Sue and Richard Spooner at our Gîte for dinner. Perfect wine with Lynn’s boulonnaise. — 6 years ago
Very pale lemon in colour. Tasted after the Premier Cru Hubert Lamy and similar in many ways - the texture, the acid, the citrus the subdued oak influence, but not as much minerality or salinity. Made by Sue Bell at her Bellwether winery in Coonawarra from Chardonnay grapes from the Tamar River in Tasmania. A good wine in the leaner style - showing the quality of Tasmanian Chardonnay. Consistent notes 88 weeks later on 9th December 2020. Chablisesque. Grapefruit notes. Still bracing acidity. — 7 years ago

Again marveling at this unusual creature of dark purple juice with dark floral yet fresh notes with a light but grippy palate that has grapey hints and a long intriguing finish. Great with Vietnamese and 9.98% ABV 49 cases made! — 8 months ago
Sue and I really enjoyed this bottle from Trader Joe’s. — 2 years ago
Young. I’ve said it many times; Hatton Daniels wines are made to age and this Cabernet is at the far end of the hold spectrum. While I loved drinking this there is so much potential that is overtaken by the density and freshness packed into this. 20-30-40 years just forget about this bottle. While it is great and definitely not hard by any means this will only become glorious over time. — 6 years ago
My wife is the beer nerd in our house, and I don’t approach beer like I do wine. I know that some traditionalist hate on this super trendy, hazy, OJ-looking style, but I like it when done well, and this is the best one I’ve ever had. Juicy, creamy, and delicious. This producer’s stuff is on point. — 6 years ago
Always going to be the highlight of the Wynns tasting and only made in years where the fruit quality and vintage conditions were exceptional. Sue Hodder said everything fell into place in 2015 and she made one of her best ever Riddochs. From less than 1% of Wynns available Cabernet fruit. Latent power on nose and palate with black fruits and balanced oak. At least a 30 year future but so balanced you could happily drink this now but one should wait at least 10 years for its charms to start showing through. A brilliant 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. — 8 years ago

Oodles of Coonawarra mint on the nose. The medium bodied palate shows blackberry, dark chocolate, and that same mint. If you ever wanted to know what an excellent Coonawarra Cabernet was like buy a bottle of this - it is textbook. Great winemaking from Sue Bell. Barb and I did vintage there in 2021. — 20 days ago
