Cherry, boysenberry, leather, some green notes. Very soft and low acid. Definitely tates like the 14% alcohol on the label. But solid for a 30 year old wine! — 3 months ago
My review may not be beneficial to all because of my drinking style. I drink the bottle myself over the course of a week. With this Freakshow Cab Sauv, my review changed from the first to last glass. The first glass was strong, thin, and barely enjoyable. With subsequent glasses tasted a developing sweetness and thickness. I realize this is counter intuitive to wines normally being best when being allowed to breathe a bit after opening. Just wasn’t the case for me with this one. Rating was a 6.5 to start and a 9.5 at the end I’m grading with a curve to give it an overall 9. Will buy again based on Freakshow reputation and hope for a better early result. — 2 months ago

Lovely Bizou 2921 oak barrels cool upper valley Ciastal range — a year ago
Learned helplessness. Man 12%. And 20$ or so. I just can’t help it - this is the best Rosé ever. Unfiltered. This was really shaken not stirred when I traveled about town before it was popped. Tart, rhubarb gal-lore!!! Lemon. Typically I hate Rosé’s which often taste like nothing / this ain’t it. — 2 months ago
I liked this more than I can remember liking a syrah. Restrained, well balanced, delicious. — 4 months ago
Pale reddish in color. Pretty color.
Fruity nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity.
Showing raspberries, cherries, red currants, earth, light chocolate notes and spices.
Tangy finish with soft tannins.
This is a very tasty Grenache blend from Columbia Valley. Elegant and nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Feels like a Southern Rhone red.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
A blend of 77% Grenache, 13% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah. Aged in used French oak barrels for 21 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
