Highland Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay 2022

Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and nutty floral notes, 50% fruit from certified organic Double L estate, with the balance from McIntyre and Tondré vineyards. On the palate flavors of apple, pear, lemon citrus zest and melon, complex with mineral tones and soft and a bit creamy adding sweet spice. The wine was fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, well balanced on a long finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Nice! — 2 days ago

Medium yellow gold. Bracing, orange fruited, orange blossom, hint of pithy grapefruit, snappy nasturtium/peppery undertone. I feel the new world weight and breadth on the palate compared to the next wine.... — 5 years ago

Gorgeous PN. Garrigue, earthiness. Beautiful balance. Never tasted an American Pinot like this before. Santa Lucia Highlands single vineyard unique clone. Napa-to-Sonoma Half Marathon post-race wine tasting extravaganza. — 7 years ago

Tondré Grapefield

Typicité Pinot Noir 2019

Super clean and pure Pinot. This vineyard is known to be one of the best groomed agricultural plots in California. Might be a little too clean for me. — 2 years ago

Tondré Grapefield Syrah 2015

This has California written all over the nose, sweet sourdough bread yeast.

Some sharp berry lies down the walkway for some other cool fruits to come a Prancin’- Bing cherry, mulberry, mint, raspberry licorice, and a highly vibrant kumquat acid that really shocks and awes.
Can u dig it?
Yes I can.

-edit- After some open air, this really shows a vegetal tone, like a shishito pepper stalk..
