Thought I already rated this one, but...drinking. A hazy lil number with a fluffy quilt on top sewn from grapefruit pith. Bright, fresh, tangerine and grapefruit nose, with candied grapefruit peel, lime kefir, and zippy lime zest. Smells like summer! Citrus tangy on the palate as well, with ruby grapefruit deconstruction separating peel from pulp and pith, and cosmic zest shimmering like stardust. Quince, lime slices, lemon with a touch of sugar, dried orange, dried mango, white pepper and edible flower or snap pea, green banana turn to clean fruit married to a bitter finish. Really great beer, with acids calling out salivary catalysts, for a mouth coating, lip smacking interplay. This has such an elegant balance, it seems like something squeezed straight out of the jungle. .

Pineapple, lime, lemon and caramelized banana nose. Stardust-sparkly entrance of zesty lime, crystalline pineapple, and dried apricot, Meyer lemon, touches of coconut oil, sesame and steely snap pea.

My wife is the beer nerd in our house, and I don’t approach beer like I do wine. I know that some traditionalist hate on this super trendy, hazy, OJ-looking style, but I like it when done well, and this is the best one I’ve ever had. Juicy, creamy, and delicious. This producer’s stuff is on point. — 5 years ago
Very good, but no King Sue. — 5 years ago
This wine hits above its class! Fantastic pounder with fruit forward berries and vanilla. Well balanced and a great, light red blend. We’ll pickup a case cuz this will be fun to have on hand... — 4 years ago
Cloudy and agitated, this teems with roiling bubbles and sediments pushing a tooth white cap to thick mountainous lava lines of lacing. Grapefruit skin, orange peel, lemon rind and clementine sections greet the memory sensor. Pink grapefruit pith, lemongrass, daisy petals and green strawberries with a whiff of caper. White grapefruit pulp, lemon-lime, mineral salt, oregano, grapefruit pith, lime oil, and iron-chalk tastes create a real depth, while keeping it surprisingly clean and light. Imagine soursop that has been dried and rehydrated by lemon, then canned, dried again, powdered and rehydrated with mineral water. Now add just the perfect malt to balance it. Two clicks above mortal, one short of divine. .

Perfect with my steak & shrimp dinner! Not sweet at all (which is normally what I look for in wine).. I’m sure I’d be told to serve warm but wine for me must be cold. I’ll buy again for compliments to my meals. Could even see sipping it for a nightcap on cool nights. — 5 years ago

1.5 hour decant(lots of fine sediment). A monumental dark crimson purplish color with little signs of aging. On the nose: beautiful notes of blackberry, stewed meat, dark plum, spice, forest floor, and sandalwood. Taste: creamy, smooth, rich, and such a polished wine with dark fruit, smoke, earth, graphite, tar and a long spiced mineral finish. This Goliath is drinking well at year 15 with the decant, but no hurry, it's ready to go a number of more years. What a treat this Saturday night! — 3 years ago
