My last bottle of this. It’s really good in a fuller style Oregon Pinot. Complex nose has gravelly loam, sandalwood notes, sappy cherry ooze, crushed rock, a little autumn baking spice. Full and broad in the mouth, but the flavors exhibit a nice balance of fruit, mineral, and underbrush notes. Medium acids, and a little very fine-grained tannin makes an appearance in the back half of the finish. Very nice — 6 months ago
Nicely restrained nose, signature trout gulch. Lots of gentle dark fruit (i heard black raspberry and I agree), a touch of earth, subtle florals and slight tannic grip — 2 years ago
Absolutely singing. Best TG I’ve ever had. So integrated and seamless. — 14 days ago
Favorite of my daughter-in-law’s mother. Had to serve with a trout dinner. It did not disappoint, aromatic, fruity and smooth ($35). — 2 years ago
Decent WA red blend with more flesh and pan — a month ago

2021. Drove to Omaha to attend an Arnot-Roberts wine class and tasting, and got there early to enjoy some delicious oysters with a bottle of fantastic Chardonnay that wasn’t on the tasting list. Unfortunately, Nathan Roberts flights were delayed and the class was cancelled, but we’re going home with a bunch of tasty wines instead! — 2 days ago
