100 % Falanghina from single vineyard in Irpinia, Campania.
Grown in Calcareous clay soil between 300 and 440 meters elevation.
70 % fermented in stainless steel and 30 % partial fermentation in small oak barrels.
Bright, straw golden green colour.
White flowers, herbs, ripe apples and pineapple. It has a great textural richness on the finish.
It spends 8 months resting on its lees.

Tainted gold color. Strong floral, borderline pungent nose; little bit of desert rain in there. The palate is bone dry, medium alcohol, medium acidity, full bodied; carries lots of umami, white mushroom, unctuous, tannins, and a strong finish. Paired with salmon sashimi with olive oil and salicornia. Pairing was delightful, wine all on its own will develop your character. Cheers. — a month ago
