Great winery to visit in Baja. Smooth tannins lovely mid palate and long aftertaste — 3 years ago
Ripe red fruit and candied rose aromas and flavors define this exuberant Rioja, which takes on spicy nuance with air. Well-concentrated but lively in style, the 2018 shows very good balance and focus, with finely woven tannins adding closing grip. $15.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, January 2021) — 4 years ago
Very fruit forward on the nose, sweet cherry on the palate and surprisingly very tannic. A variety of grapes I’ve never had: 35% Trincadeira, 30% Tinta Roriz, 20% Touriga Franca and 15% Touriga Nacional. A nice Portuguese wine that I would buy again! — a year ago
Super subtle, bone dry, slightly salty — 3 years ago
Best Mexican red yet. — 4 years ago
Notes of dark fruit. Compelling dusky. Bottle shape adds to its allure. — a year ago
Fantastic! Expressive in the nose, with dark cherries, plums and toffee notes. Good body, sweet tannins, length. Watch for his wines, truly tremendous — 3 years ago
