Foradori

Granato Teroldego

Nice flowery and fruity nose. I think I will keep my other bottles a few more years to see if and how it can develop further.
The acidity is at a nice very old balsamic level.

Klein Constantia

Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Muscat à Petits Grains 2008

golden yellow , copper tinge . Quite open exuberant nose , orange rind , honeysuckle, saffron , ginger , marmalade . Intense marmalade , orange peel on the palate , quite rich and intense but well balanced by high acidity. Long balanced , zesty intense finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years . — 21 days ago

Vin de Pays de l'Hérault Red Rhone Blend 2010

Ripe blueberry, thick and sticky. Chocolate and mocha finish. 14 years and it still got it. — 22 days ago

Bodegas Alto Moncayo

Veraton Garnacha 2018

Bountiful of red berries and cranberries no both aromas and taste. Powerful and rich body structure. Well-balanced, round tannins, bright acidity. Long finish and enticing texture. — 2 months ago

Santa Margherita

Valdadige Pinot Grigio 2022

Light silvery straw gold color. Clean aromas and flavors of yellow delicious apple and citrus fruits with a light dose of mineral on the medium-plus finish. Crisp acidity and quite fresh tasting. This “Valdadige version” was much better than I expected. Very dry and quite refreshing. — a month ago

Château Léoville-Las Cases

Grand Vin de Leoville du Marquis de las Cases Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

Tight as a drum at open. Loosened to trampoline tension after 2 hours. Finally was loose after 4. Spicy and hefty. More inward. A sophisticated mix and quite good but as with most Leoville Las Cases it needs to sit longer for the next iteration. — 7 days ago

Ironically, I just enjoyed a bottle of this in London and fully agree with your assessment. I am looking forward adding to my cellar. I have ‘82, ‘89, ‘01, ‘05, and ‘16 and it’s obvious that ‘09 needs to be in the mix. Only a couple of years for this juice to step to the next level and maybe
even before ‘05 . Nice find
