Orange creamsicle and perfume on the nose. Full bodied and salty. — 3 months ago
Lemon and grapefruit accents, medium body, nice acidity, enjoyed as our “pre-lunch” morning aperitif (since Alba is Latin for Dawn, seemed appropriate to drink as a morning wine). — a year ago
Light, fresh yet stongish taste whilst keeping its freshness. Beautiful wine for both hot summer lunches as well as cooler dinners. 2019 vintage — 4 years ago
With seafood. Trust its finish, and you’ll love the complexity. — 5 months ago
Much more enjoyable than the 2016. Deep ruby color. Black pepper, tar and late-season lilac on the nose. Medium-body but layered flavor with granite, vanilla, crushed red pepper and old boot leather...kind of a salty finish. I don’t remember how much I paid for this, but whatever it was, I would have paid more. Fantastic! — 5 years ago

Eight years after the vintage... On the nose, this is cranberry and raspberry... On the palate, raspberry syrup, cranberry/cherry concentrate... Smoke? Earth? Mushroom? The tannins are very present. Powerful but not rough. Long finish. Pepper. — 2 months ago
