Presents treacle, coffee grinds and cedar on the nose. Oddly enough, there’s a hint of grapefruit on the mid palate. It’s not a distraction, but quite uncommon. Moderate density supports maraschino cherries and ripe tannins. Great overall structure suggests that this will sail on for a few more years, but it’s peaking now. — 4 months ago
