[92% Grenache, 8% Mourvedre] The lovely ripe red-fruited Grenache is buoyed by the structured, dark-fruited Mourvedre, still quite a youthful CdP, but drinks very well night, medium-long, lingering finish, very solid!! — 2 days ago
A little bit of green in the aromatics, this is mature but has lovely balance without too much ABV (13% vs. 14.5% in the earlier Bordeaux today), ready to drink, nice juice!! — 4 days ago
[100% Syrah] This is super, super fresh, youthful, and should easily last another 15 years, same cast of characters except all Syrah, blue/black fruit aromas and flavors, long finish, another level up from the Odyssey!! — a day ago
Crisp and fresh, outstanding acidity really gives this wonderful lift and length, some minerality as well, really a sleeper Bourgogne Blanc! — 2 days ago
[95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc] This a dark purple, lovely 10-year-old Bordeaux with lots of structure, this should age effortlessly for another 5-10 years, good balance, good length, very nice!! — 5 days ago
Freshly cut grass, white stonefruits, mineral, very nice underlying acidity, medium-long finish, solid Gruner from the Dolomites! — 5 days ago
Quite dark color, nearly opaque, still quite amazing for a 16-year-old CdRV (Lirac), great redfruits and darkfruits, I cannot forecast how long this bottling will last (you can see the cepage in the picture), but the l’Astrolabe bottling (100% Syrah) has already shown it’s easy longevity. Biodynamic, the late Philippe Cambie and Philippe Faure-Brac (2022, Best Sommelier in the World, consulted on this wine. — a day ago
[80% Cot (Malbec), 20% Merlot] This KLWM import is still an inky dark purple at age 26, seems less structured/tannic than vintages I purchased back in the 1980s/1990s (the Merlot??), but even at 12.5% this shows intense black fruits, somewhat of a soft middle, lingering finish, really a lovely French rouge that suggests to me it’ll still be kicking in 15-20 more years. I honestly think if @Tom Casagrande was drinking this with me now, without seeing the label, he’d be asking me whether the vintage wasn’t really 1900? Maybe lacks the complexity of a great Bordeaux, but definitely a throwback wine!! — 2 days ago

Seems in the same place as my December 2025 note, still youthful and solid, and could use a little more cellaring, lovely fruit, soft structure. — 5 days ago

Lemon, sea salt, just a touch of honey, minerality really shows on the palate, good acid, lovely depth and length, drinking beautifully tonight. — 12 hours ago
