I’ve been drinking Tablas Creek wines for 15-20 years, and this bottle is BY FAR the worst one I’ve ever had, color is barely darker than the Rose, very simple strawberry aromas and flavors, some minor browning on the edges, 14% ABV, I cannot fathom why they released this as a single varietal bottling!?!? Definitely will result in my hesitation to purchase any more single varietal Grenache from Tablas Creek. I guess I can honestly say I’ve never had a mediocre wine from Tablas Creek, thus my confusion! — 4 days ago
[70% Carignan, 30% Grenache. 13.0 % ABV] Medium-dark ruby-purple color, garrigue, blue and red fruits, mineral, nicely crisp and refreshing, medium-bodied, medium-long finish, lovely Faugeres Rouge! — a day ago
Fascinating redfruit aromas and flavors, exotic wildflowers and loamy aromas as well, fresh and balanced, ABV (13%) keeps it refreshing, excellent Sicilian red! — 6 days ago
Much more forward and less deep and structured than the outstanding 2016 LBV Dow’s, well made and great fruit, medium-long finish, very fine!! — 7 days ago
Mineral, ripe apple, stonefruit aromas and flavors, perhaps a little fat, could have a tad more acidity to balance, medium-long finish, refreshing!! — 7 days ago
Earthy, mineral, dark fruits, structured, balanced acidity, good weight and length, excellent Barbera!! — 2 days ago
This is way better than the 2022 Tablas Creek Grenache, but it also seems a tad too simple, love the acidity and freshness (and 12.6% ABV), shows solid strawberry aromas and flavors, medium-bodied, pleasant, but honestly should be better as a single varietal wine, tastes a little too dilute?? — 4 days ago
Similar notes from our last tasting in 2024, so fresh and shows ripasso-like sweet raisin red fruit aromas and flavors, wonderful! — 6 days ago
Blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire (think the small area of the Loire southwest of the Rhône), I have to admit I don’t much care for this, the Sauvignon Blanc really dominates and the blend tastes odd here, not my jam. — 7 days ago

Lovely clean and refreshing Gamay fruit, still quite youthful, balanced, medium-long finish, very good!!
As an aside, we also tried a 2010 Cote de Brouilly from Domaine de Chavannes that was surprisingly fresh and lively at age 15, say an 8.7!! — 38 minutes ago
