Mulberry, eucalyptus, nicely balanced Margaret River Cabernet, medium-long finish, good, but nothing more. — 6 days ago
Honey, floral, tiny bit of petrol, great balance, medium-rich, long, lingering finish, terrific Alsatian Riesling. — 7 days ago

Sweet oak, red spicy notes, a touch of heat (14.9% ABV), medium-long finish, solid, if uninspiring, Oakville Zinfandel. — 2 days ago
Big, rich, complex old vine field blend, also shows some definite heat (15.2% ABV), good finish, solid red!! — 3 days ago
Petrol initially, some floral notes as well, medium-bodied, solid finish, nice Alsatian Riesling with a little bottle age. — 5 days ago
[8-hour decant] Ripe, rich, very youthful still, with a noticeable tannic backbone, but also shows a sweet palate (think Graham’s/Fonseca, though the Symington family owns Graham’s, Dow’s, Warre’s and Cockburn’s, among others??), this should easily evolve/improve another 10-20 years, very long finish, outstanding vintage Porto, super long finish!! — 3 days ago
[8 hour decant] This smells and (in particular) tastes like Dow’s, the drier style of classic Vintage Port, still shows lovely fruit and depth, just not as sweet as Fonseca or Graham’s, nor as structured as Taylor’s, longish finish, very, very sneaky fine!! — 5 days ago

[80% Tannat, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon] definitely some Brett in this one, but not over the top for me, fruit is still fresh, structure suggests this is mature, very good balance and length, long finish. For those highly intolerant of Brett, you probably won’t like this as much as I did. — 6 days ago

Like the first bottle from 9 months ago, shows lots of SO2 (burnt match) aromas initially, also lemon and mineral, very good balancing acidity, longish, satisfying finish. — 16 hours ago
