This seems pretty much fully mature, red fruits, I think better than the 2000 VT I posted on 3 or so weeks ago, but again, this is frankly underwhelming for a property like VT in a very good vintage. — 3 days ago
Garrigue and redfruits aromas, good acid, medium-bodied, medium-long finish, this seems at least close to mature, which surprises me a little since I have older VTs back to the GREAT 1988 that are more youthful than this, so good-very good, no more. I hope this shows OK with the rack of lamb I’m grilling for my wife and son (I’m not a fan of lamb). — 20 days ago
Extremely light color and a tad too thin, I’ve had this before and it’s not improving, honestly disappointing in the context of some of the excellent Aussie reds we’ve been lucky enough to drink these past 3 years. — 2 days ago
Quite dry, aromas of white flowers, nice bubbles, medium-long finish, very nice Cremant!! — 3 days ago
Oldie but still a goodie, mountain fruit from (what I understand) is an old head-pruned block of Pinot Noir on/near Sonoma Mountain, when young it was always big, rich and structured, this bottle still shows some structure but also great, still youthful fruit, long, lingering finish, really excellent!! — 20 days ago
This is just too ripe and hot (14.5% ABV stated, but I just don’t believe it), some savoury notes, but I fear this will always be a little unbalanced, drinkable. — 2 days ago
Lovely spicy red-fruited Grenache, ripe vintage, nice balance, really nice Lirac!! — 3 days ago
This aged Beaujolais is just gorgeous, crushed red berries, minerals, floral, great acidity, long, lingering finish, could easily evolve another 5 years in a cold cellar, truly an outstanding wine from a great Beaujolais vintage!! — 19 days ago
Red and blue fruit aromas and flavors, some oak influence, round, ripe, but not at all hot (14% ABV), long, lingering finish, very fine Washington Syrah!! — 22 days ago

I’ve waxed (eloquent? Well, at least waxed!! 🤔) about the virtues and quality of this excellent 2020 Zinfandel multiple times, but this wine is still punching well above its weight (the so-called “leftovers” that didn’t make the single vineyard cut), long finish, lovely!! Going to the Bedrock pickup party in Sonoma tomorrow to get some of the 2024s I’ve already purchased, so this is a great warmup!! — 15 hours ago
