Delectable seems to be having troubles again. This wine is so young, I let it breathe for an hour while I prepped dinner, and it was still pretty tight. After dinner it began to open up with bright red fruit and a hint of florals on the nose. Also some faint brett.
Flavors include tart strawberries, blueberries, cedar and pipe tobacco. Nice, long ending. Not very complex, but well structured and delicious. And a great value!

I've had this before, and I'll say the same thing. Super jammy, almost syrupy. Blue fruit and nutmeg/Christmas spices.

This year's bottling is better than its Bombergers companion. Sweet and leathery, complex. Tastes like bourbon. A little astringent on the tail end.

I've never had this because I can't understand $25 for Pinot Grigio from the grocery store. Grabbed a bottle last night 50% off.
It tastes like PG, and it tastes like $12 PG and it's fine. Apple juice with pretty flabby acidity. A little melon. More like chardonnay in the mouth. Why so much hype?

I've had a few vintages of this and it never disappoints. It's a great mix of lively fruit and some rustic qualities. Pairs with just about anything. I'm going to have it with spaghetti squash and grilled chicken and mushrooms.

The guy at my local shop gave me this and asked me try it because another costumer said it was bad. Not bad at all! I should probably pay him.
Earthy stuff up front, maybe that's what they didn't like. Soil and leather cover up the dark fruit. Super tannic, this needs to breathe plenty. But really good, and making burgers to go with it.

2024 Vignetti Pinot Grigio.
On a mission to find the cheapest wine I can use to sauté shrimp (and enjoy a glass while cooking). I grabbed this. Not overly acidic, it's round and flabby in the mouth. It will be fine for cooking, but not one I'd buy for sipping.

I enjoyed this much more than the first time I had it. Might have been what I ate with it. Stuffed peppers, and it was a good pairing.

Nothing fancy. The fruit is a little sweet, as others have said, but it has a rustic quality. It tastes like Siena, and makes me want some pistachio gelato.
