Abbey Ridge Pinot Noir 2017

Some funk and reduction on opening, much better on day two. Red and black cherries, mineral, baking spice, silky tannin, long finish πŸ’πŸ”₯πŸ‘Œ β€” 3 years ago

Vecina Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Not sure a comment will suffice. Not many wines are worth this price, but every time I I drink this, it seems to be right up there. β€” 3 years ago

Best Lamborn we’ve had in a while.
Crunchy black fruits, bold texture, and just the right amount of sweetness. Excellent from the first sip to the last. This will cellar for another 15 years, easily.

Tin Box Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

The nose smacks you in the face with notes of gravel, graphite and dark fruits. Wonderfully balanced wine with well-integrates tannins. This is drinking beautifully now, but easily has another 10 years in it. Recommend holding on these. β€” 3 years ago

CVR Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2016

My kind of Winter Warmer. This has markedly improved and integrated in the last two years. β€” 3 years ago

Great choice. I am about to decant a 2004 QC for Sunday lunch.

Azienda Vitivinicola Nervi

Gattinara Nebbiolo 2013

Just wow. Decanted and enjoyed the first night and truly singing the second night. Super floral, with clay, mineral and red fruits in the nose. Red smooth fruit, light tannins with a soft finish. Beautiful! TLB β€” 3 years ago

Domaine du SΓ©minaire

ValrΓ©as CΓ΄tes du RhΓ΄ne Villages Red RhΓ΄ne Blend 2018

Fresh and lithe once the funk blew off. The fruit here seems of a higher elevation than most CDRVs I have. No oak - good food wine. β€” 3 years ago

Ronco della Chiesa Collio Tocai Friulano 2018

Awesome wine. As usual, If you think you don’t like a category or variety, just go spend $80/bottle then come back and talk to me. This wine shows what Friulano can be. Polished, mildly enriched by oak barrels, very complex fruit, minerals and Unami and super stylish texture...Like the first time you saw a car designed by Karmen Ghia β€” 3 years ago

Emilio Ramirez Envinate

Benje Tenerife Tinto 2019

One of my favorite wines for the price point. Soft, bright berry-driven fruit (blueberry, cranberry, tart cherry, pomegranate), dried savory herbs, leather, black licorice, violet, black pepper, earthy spice; game, smoke, and charcuterie. Gentle acidity and rocky minerality keep it lifted and lively. β€” 3 years ago
