#LBV Port, it's nearly the perfect after dinner libation. If you and your guests have just finished a few bottles of still wine and opening another bottle is not palatable. A bottle of port is a great way to end the evening, without the concern about whether the bottle is finished or not, easily recorked and stored in the pantry to be enjoyed over the next week or two. Marinated mushroom magic. Grapes and raisins, cassis berry, skateboard bushing and candied violets inform an incredibly soft nose. A very blackberry and black currant reduction comes as a surprise bonus with charcoal, black pepper soaked in dry pencil wood and grape skin.
