Nice juicy #Garnacha Smooth and enjoyable #navarra #limitedrelease — a year ago
Another wine which was overrated by Luis Gutierrez of #Parker I understand why he liked it because he’s a huge fan of #Garnacha and from Avila in particular because that’s where he’s from, but this wine from #Navarra is simple, which by itself isn’t a bad thing. It’s just straightforward good Garnacha #Grenache and perhaps due to it being matured in #tinajas it’s got #coolkid status. — 4 years ago
Vintage 2009 - Dutch bottling by Roel Berger Roermond - Navarra from tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon and merlot - vieilli en fut chêne - this wine is tremendously juicy, spicy and fruity. Cherries in smell, also leather, chocolate impression, and a spicy taste. I love this frivolous wine, it gives enormous hapinness. #tempranillo #merlot #cabernetsauvignon #navarra #spain #dutchbottling With steak and mushrooms. — 8 years ago
Many people nowadays in #Spain are talking about how #garnacha can seem like a #pinotnoir and most of the time the only thing they have in common is a pale color. This wine I tasted blind and it really showed me how similar they can get. It was more tannic than most pinots. As a #grenache from #navarra it was fantastic — 10 years ago

The wine poured a deep purple red. It had some flavors of dried red fruit initially. And it finishes with an earthy vegetable essence. There are nice tannins. The wine paired well with the New York grass fed steaks that we paired it with. As other reviewers have mentioned I don’t think it amounts to a 92 rating like wine enthusiast gave it. But for $6.40 at grocery warehouse, it’s a very good value. Supposedly it’s MSRP was $40, but like the wine enthusiast rating, I kind of question that.Nevertheless, I might pick some more up if I see it at grocery warehouse again. #grocerystorewine #redwine #spain #navarra — 3 days ago
