Cherry flavored Pinot Noir that was okay but one dimensional. — 6 months ago
Alban is name of first child. what a nose, gamey, stoney, granite, loess, amazing nose. so so sick. red fruits. raspberry coulis. olives, leather, some funk, some barnyard, some horse. wow this nose. wow, so silky, so elegant, big and refined, but juicy and so so elegant. Amazing purity. So open and wide. Coulis. red fruit, so fine, so much velvety tannins, sleek and refined. polished classicism. precise dense deep and lots of material. Drinking so well now. — 10 months ago
2023 vintage. More fruit than mineral driven. A big spearmint note. Fresh, delicious and a great price. Apparently, the Roussanne vineyard is disease-ridden and out of commission for at least 3 years so this could be it for Alban whites for a spell. They are supposedly not buying fruit any longer. 5.9.24. — 9 days ago
2002. Wow. Beautiful and elegant. Only 10% abv according to the label but I’d guess higher. Petrol, honey, Corn Pops cereal, dill, mandarin oranges, golden raisin. This is amazing. — 6 months ago
