An interesting Pinot Grigio from the southern section of Valdadige within the Veneto region (northern of Italy). Plentiful of white stony fruits embedded to the lime, quince and some herbs. It definitely has a bit and weight as a mouthfeel, short but sharp finish. It can be great as a sipper or a pairing grand stand with Mediterranean food and white sauce pastas. — 3 months ago

Opened the precious day and kept in the wine fridge overnight. The 2021 “La Rocca” pours a straw color with medium- viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with cheese and melons: cantaloupe, musk melon, Taleggio and Pecorino Romano with some lemon and raw almonds. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and there’s palpable texture. A fun wine and more interesting than most Gavi’s I’ve had recently. This is 100% Cortese sourced from their vineyards in Barbaresco and San Rocco Seno d’Alba; fermented and aged in French oak barriques. Drink now. — 9 months ago
A great find by my dealer. One of the best bottles I’ve ever had. — 11 days ago
Smooth, tart, not too crisp. Lemon and apple notes forward. Delicious! — a month ago

Mint from a tomato salad shifted this into another gear. An excellent producer we visited at harvest 2023. — 2 days ago
