I adore this woman maker in the Dolomites, but my friends felt this white blend too suave for the setting (San Juan, PR) — 24 days ago
My first exposure to Don Melchor was rewarding! Rich, dark fruit maturity on the nose was consistent with long lasting dark cherries and red plum on the palette. Soft tannins reminiscent of a well aged Cabernet, the softness of this young cab was surprising and delightful! An absolute treat to taste!! — a month ago
Clean, fresh at nearly 5 years. Reductive and a little spritzy in a good way. Resembles a top German Müller-Thurgau. — 13 days ago
East summer drink. Fine fruity light finish with a touch of crisp green apple. — 9 days ago

Ruby color, purple edges, with pronounced aromas of red fruits, floral, herbs and complex spice. On the palate concentrated flavors of raspberry, ripe plum and black cherry with orange citrus, herbs, vanilla and oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, rich long finish, ending with fruit, vanilla, floral, spice and oaky tones. Very Nice! Will age!
