Decided to break open this Brunello tonight, after having a 2015 Argiano last night. This one is super rich with dark cherry, chocolate, and spice aromas. On the bud, the cherry notes continue to come out with cedar/oak notes and subtle spice notes. It velvety smooth with mild tannins and a nice long finish. Great with our steak and kale salad. Looking forward to tasting it with our chocolates later. This one is by far the winner of the two wines. I still have 6 more bottles in the cellar and can’t wait to see how it continues to evolve. — 2 years ago

My initial thoughts were this is a big bruiser. I came back to it and sure enough everything calmed down and softened. Plenty of dark fruit that was lighter on its feet than expected. Great finish that was mouth watering. Still has a number of yrs left. — 9 months ago

Good! Hefty! Some cinnamon/nutmeg up front upon opening, mellows a bit later. Tasty! — 4 months ago
The 2020 Non Confunditur (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese) wafts up with wild blueberries, sage and violet pastille. It’s silky-smooth with ripe, southern Montalcino red and blue fruits. Sweet spice mingles with black raspberry and minerals throughout the long, lightly structured finale. $23.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, December 2022) — 3 years ago

Took some time to open, deep ruby colour and red berry aromas nice feel on palate which improved over time as it mellowed and revealed a well balanced package — 24 days ago
