Began with a strong metallic taste

After some air time - mellowed into the expected wine. Good acidity. Nice lemon citrus flavor.

Has a roundness to it that speaks to the vineyard as if it had some oak but I don’t think it did.

Btw - Sigalas is only Santorini wine I drink. Visited them on my honeymoon. Fantastic place just a short walk down the hill from Oia.

Dark straw color. Aromas of ripe pear, lime, white flowers and fresh herbs. The palate features more tropical fruits, green apples, minerals and citrus. The long finish is a bit salty and smoky. Bracing acidity and crisp. Solid value. — 3 months ago
